Spirit Nation Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Spirit Nation collects, why it is collected, and how it is used while the lab is in alpha.

Information Collected

Public readers can browse scripture without creating an account. Standard server systems may still collect request metadata such as IP address, browser user agent, requested page, referrer, and request time for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and operational troubleshooting.

If you create an account, Spirit Nation stores your display name, email address, password hash, timestamps, admin status if applicable, API access requests, and API key records tied to your account.

API Access Data

API access requests may include project name, project URL, intended use, estimated request volume, and notes you submit. Approved API keys are stored as hashes, not as plain text. The visible prefix may be stored so an admin can identify which key is being managed.

API usage events may store the API key record, endpoint used, request count units, IP address, user agent, and timestamp. This is used to enforce quotas, identify abuse, plan future tiers, and troubleshoot API behavior.

Contact Form

If you use the contact form, the submitted name, email address, subject, and message are sent to loganpendragonmultiverse@gmail.com for review. The site may also log whether sending succeeded or failed.

What Spirit Nation Does Not Store

Spirit Nation does not intentionally store identity documents, biometric data, private religious notes, payment card details, or sensitive personal records as part of this alpha release. If payment processing is added later, it should be handled by a payment provider rather than storing card data directly in Spirit Nation.

Data Use

Data is used to operate the scripture reader, manage accounts, review API access requests, issue and revoke API keys, monitor usage, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to contact requests.

Retention And Changes

Account, API, usage, and contact records may be retained as long as needed to operate the lab, resolve abuse, preserve audit history, and plan future access tiers. Test accounts or test API requests may be removed during alpha cleanup.
